WHY QUEBEC STANDS OUT

Quebec has something that makes it unique: the Reform of the Québec Cadastre (1994-2021). Ecce Terra has been one of the government’s major suppliers for contracts related to this program.

The project was designed to transform the paper cadastre into a digital and multipurpose cadastre. National decision-makers seeking solutions to develop and implement their own cadastral systems find it to be a very enriching source of inspiration.

OUR CONVICTION

Ecce Terra believes that geographical, property, tax and land use information must be integrated into a land administration system to efficiently structure the sustainable management of the land and its resources. This procedure is also useful for urban development planning, the protection of individual and collective rights, development and securing investments. Promoting Canadian know-how in our field of expertise is both motivating and rewarding. By joining forces with strong partners, we are able to offer complete and specialized services on an international scale. We mainly collaborate with technical and vocational training institutions, and government departments.

Some of our achievements:

  • Establish control reference points with GNSS, assist a local surveying team and provide geodesy training, Guinea-Conakry, 2018
  • Support to the Ministry of State Domains and Land Rights Affairs for the implementation of the roadmap for Mali’s land policy, Mali, 2015
  • Develop a business partnership in Columbia with Eninco S.A, Colombia, 2017
  • Bathymetric surveys and local technical training, Guinea, 2014
  • Provide training for the Direction nationale de l’agence nationale du cadastre and the Direction Générale du domaine national, Algeria, 2016

Ecce Terra also takes part in international land tenure congresses by giving conferences to promote Canadian expertise.
