Ecce Terra, the Earth’s proportions at a human scale

Ecce Terra is one of the largest land surveyors firms in Quebec. It has one hundred employees including twenty surveyors. The company has nine business locations spread across the regions of Quebec, Chaudière-Appalaches and Estrie.

Our engagement

Through its specialized teams and its cutting-edge technology, Ecce Terra wants to be recognized as a leader in its field. In addition, our land surveyors firm’s mission is to satisfy its customers through continuous improvement of its processes and its quality control system.

Our history

Ecce Terra is the result of merging several firms of surveyors in the Estrie region, Beauce, Thetford Mines and Bellechasse. Having started in the 70s, the merger process has brought together surveying professionals from these regions of Quebec.

The name of Ecce Terra comes from a group of firms in Beauce, in the early 2000s expression meaning “Here is the Earth” takes a special symbol that sticks perfectly to the land surveyors’ work and motto.

Moreover, in 2004, Ecce Terra was deemed compliant with ISO 9001: 2008. This is a major asset for the company that wants to guarantee its customers products and services that meet their expectations.

Over the years, Ecce Terra has imposed itself by its involvement in cadastral reform projects and the construction of hydroelectric dams, roads and wind farms.

Markets

We have the technical and technological expertise to conduct your survey work and accompany you in your residential, agricultural, forestry, institutional, industrial and commercial projects.

Ecce Terra also acts as a supplier to the Department of Natural Resources as part of the cadastral reform program.

Our land surveying firm also works with the Ministry of Transport of Quebec and Hydro-Quebec for various mandates.

Our philosophy

“We give the Earth human dimensions.”

We rely on strong and essential values to achieve our goals and guide us in our work:

  • Respect for the customer, the same one that inspires us and guides our daily actions.
  • Professionalism, source of rigour and high standards in the execution of our mandates.
  • Openness, useful to go beyond ourselves.
  • Teamwork, which calls for mutual aid and respect for each person, in addition to value the contribution of all for the company’s success.
  • Integrity, symbol of our commitment to transparency and honesty to all those we meet.
  • Pride, feeling that we share to work in a company that is always looking to distinguish itself.
